The Cage Bird Club of Charlotte County was formed and is chartered in the State of Florida. It exists as a not for profit non-political organization. The purpose of the Club is to futher the Science of Aviculture and to help ensure the preservation of caged birds in the U.S.A. The Club encourages both pet and captive breeding programs. It exists to help prevent the endangerment of birds, extinction of birds, to encourage research and educational programs, and aid in behavoral modifications for birds
